Job Summary:
Planet Healthcare is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team for a travel opportunity in Bangor, Maine. This 13-week contract will involve working 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, providing exceptional patient care and support.

About the Role:
As an Ultrasound Technologist with Planet Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, from pediatrics to geriatrics, utilizing your expertise in ultrasound technology to provide accurate diagnoses and treatments. Your strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ultrasound exams on patients, ensuring accurate results and effective communication with healthcare teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • Current ARDMS certification (RDCS) in abdomen, obstetrics and gynecology, and/or cardiovascular sonography.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ultrasound technology, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
