We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Crew Chief to join our team in the Asheville, NC region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading survey crews, collecting data, and ensuring the quality of survey deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Lead survey crews in the field, ensuring the collection of accurate data and adherence to project schedules.
- Conduct research and analysis to support survey projects, including ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and quality deliverables.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and team members, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration.
- Ensure the safe and efficient completion of projects, adhering to project schedules and budgets.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of surveying concepts and practices, including the use of survey equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel regionally and nationally, with a focus on delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
