Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes and verify that components meet established specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Interpret and apply blueprints effectively, identifying the appropriate tools for each machining operation.
- Utilize precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers, to assess and ensure the accuracy of parts.
- Manage the loading and unloading of materials on CNC machines, including all necessary operational procedures.
- Meet the physical demands of the role, which include close vision, auditory skills, and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, as well as moderate lifting and carrying tasks.
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in operating CNC machinery is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CNC control functions and proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
- Willingness to work afternoon or midnight shifts, with flexibility to adjust to different schedules as required.
