Assembly Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitting Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and comprehend job orders and bills of materials
• Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to meet production schedules
• Move totes to tables, checking to ensure all parts are complete, and making copies of paperwork
• Confers with department supervisors or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes
• Identify maintenance needed on equipment and tooling
• Work at different workstations as production needs require
• Maintain the work area in a clean, safe, and orderly manner
• Use proper safety equipment and apparel required for each operation on individual's product line or work cell

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematic drawings
• Proficiency with handheld tools and other measuring devices

Physical Demands:

• Occasionally - Stooping/Twisting, Kneeling, Squatting, Visual Acuity (Near/Far), and Lift/Carry up to 50lbs
• Frequently - Reaching and Lift/Carry up to 25lbs
• Constantly - Standing, Walking, Gripping, Pushing/Pulling, and Lift/Carry up to 25lbs
