Certified Sleep Study Specialist

Under the supervision of a healthcare provider, conducts sleep evaluations to assist in the diagnosis of various sleep-related conditions.
Engages in routine patient evaluations and polysomnography (PSG) setups for testing, monitors patients throughout the night, analyzes sleep data, records additional test outcomes, and gathers and sends biological samples for laboratory analysis (if applicable).
Undertakes a diverse range of responsibilities.Relies on expertise and discretion to strategize and achieve objectives, performs a variety of tasks, and operates under the general oversight of the department head or manager.
Typically reports to a supervisor or department manager.Qualifications
Essential qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification (BLS training), ability to work 10-11 hour night shifts, basic computer proficiency (data entry), bilingual skills preferred.
Must have successfully completed sleep board examinations for national certification. Must be organized, capable of working independently, and committed to the field of sleep medicine.Desirable skills:
Registered Sleep Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience. Familiarity with medical terminology and prior clinical exposure (3+ years), any relevant medical licensure will be considered.
