Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team at Watt Acquisition, LLC. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute electrical wiring plans for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.
  • Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems.
  • Install safety and distribution components, such as switches, resistors, and circuit-breaker panels.
  • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components.
  • Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them.
  • Prevent system breakdown by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits, etc.
  • Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
Requirements
  • Five years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and making repairs promptly.
  • Proficient in installing electrical panel systems, conduit, wiring, and fixtures.
  • Proficient in working with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
  • Journeyman Electrician License (preferred).
  • Valid Driver's License.
Working Environment & Conditions

This role requires standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/scaffolds, and working in loud environments with other trades. You may be required to work in dusty, dirty, hot, or wet conditions and push, pull, or carry heavy fixtures/material. Travel may be required for projects, and occasional extended hours and overtime may be necessary to meet workload demands.
