Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed HVAC technician to join our team at McDonald's. As an HVAC Technician - Restaurant Environment Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, and efficiency of our restaurant environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to identify and resolve problems quickly.
  • Install and connect electrical components and wiring for HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete installation and repair projects, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on HVAC systems, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude, with experience in appliance repair or HVAC/R field preferred.
  • Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints, with excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repairs, with effective communication skills to interact with managers, supervisors, and team members.

Work Environment
