Job Summary:
As an Asphalt Laborer at CRH, you will be responsible for assisting our construction crew in various tasks related to road construction and maintenance. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shovel, rake, and compact materials at road construction projects
- Stand for long periods of time performing manual labor near hot asphalt in hot weather
- Walk alongside the paver to shovel and rake areas of asphalt that require leveling
- Perform various duties to assist the crew when paving roads and highways
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in hot weather
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and processes
