Job Title: Paramedic

International SOS is a leading medical and security services company with a global presence. We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team in New Albany, OH.

Job Summary:

The Paramedic will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct and indirect clinical care to patients. This role requires a high level of expertise in evidenced-based medical practice, with the ability to manage unexpected and emergent situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist medical providers with medical procedures and treatments as allowed within licensed scope of work.
  • Assess and document patient vital signs, chief complaint, medical history, and prescribed medications.
  • Establish observable and documentable patient goals using care plans within protocols.
  • Report all changes in patient conditions to the medical provider.
  • Administer basic care, including inserting catheters, collecting blood specimens, and performing EKGs.
  • Assist patients with basic care and activities of daily living, as needed.
  • Provide support and education to help patients make responsible health decisions.
  • Maintain supply inventory and restock clinical and provider areas.
  • Cross-train to work within clinics, emergency rooms, and inpatient units.
  • Participate in on-call rotation schedule as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of paramedic experience.
  • Experience in a clinic setting (urgent care, emergency room, etc.).
Education and Certifications:
  • Current and unrestricted license from Ohio.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • American Heart Association - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification is preferred.
Physical Demands:
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • May require bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 lbs.
