Norman Regional Health System, a community hospital system nestled in the Oklahoma City metro area, is seeking a skilled Registered Technologist to expand its cardiovascular program. With an innovative approach to patient care, our team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists work together to provide exceptional treatment options.

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our interventional cardiology department, you will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment.
Your expertise in procedural areas, such as cardiovascular procedures, will be essential in providing high-quality patient care. You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff and contributing to the growth and development of our team.
ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing equipment before and during procedures
- Identifying and assessing patient condition
- Preparing, positioning, and providing patient care
- Maintaining a sterile environment
- Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
- Participating in the orientation of new staff
- Utilizing downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months
- Education: Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
- Experience: Previous procedural area experience preferred
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification preferred, Basic Life Support (BLS) training required, Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire
