Software Resources is seeking a qualified candidate for a Logistics and Facilities Operations Specialist role within a prominent organization.
This position requires onsite presence five days a week, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel to various company sites within a five-mile radius using a company vehicle.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Familiarity with SAP systems
- Ability to support projects from inception to completion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Role Overview:
The selected candidate will be responsible for general procurement through SAP and other suppliers, managing vehicle logistics, supporting mail services, assisting with spatial planning, disseminating communications, and facilitating onboarding and offboarding processes. This role will involve collaboration with other members of the Facilities and Operations team to accomplish tasks related to tenant improvements, relocations, billing, vehicle management, mail services, audiovisual needs, and warehousing.
Additionally, the Specialist will coordinate with vendors to solicit bids, conduct site inspections, ensure the quality of completed work, and monitor billing processes. The role includes assisting in the coordination of internal resources to support daily operational needs.
Furthermore, the Specialist will aid in the global logistics of asset movement between the primary warehouse and project sites, ensuring accurate and timely compilation of shipping requests through the warehousing software system. The role may also involve developing and coordinating outbound and inbound shipments to guarantee prompt delivery of goods. The Specialist may represent the Facilities and Operations Division on project teams.
Key Competencies:
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances swiftly.
- Detail-oriented with a capacity to maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through capabilities. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an office or project-oriented environment is required.
- Must possess a valid driver's license to operate a company vehicle.
Educational Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience.
