Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Yard Driver to join our team at Walmart. As a Yard Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor/trailer unit to transport goods within our warehouse and yard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate tractor/trailer unit safely and efficiently to transport goods within the warehouse and yard.
  • Inspect trailers to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
  • Maintain proper fuel levels and perform trailer inventory checks.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to move trailers to designated locations within the yard.
  • Ensure quality by maintaining records, logs, and forms, including those required by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
Requirements
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • 6 months experience operating tractor/trailer units.
