Respiratory Therapist - Ventilation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Ventilation Specialist. In this role, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients requiring ventilation support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage ventilation patients in alternate sites, ensuring optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to patients and caregivers on ventilator use and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently, utilizing electronic health records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and timely interventions.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree from an accredited respiratory program.
  • Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by AdaptHealth LLC.
  • One year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience.
  • CPR certification and a valid driver's license.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on location and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
