Advanced Practice Provider in Gastroenterology

We are looking for an Advanced Practice Provider to become a vital member of our dynamic Gastroenterology team at Indiana University Health.
Job Details:
- Full-Time, Day Shift with flexible 8 or 10-hour options
- No weekends or on-call duties
- Predominantly outpatient care (75%), with some inpatient responsibilities (25%)
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of 6 physicians and 3 other Advanced Practice Providers
- Provide care for adult patients (18+) dealing with various acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the majority of outpatient clinic visits, including new patient evaluations when appropriate.
- Conduct thorough assessments and treatment plans, consulting with physicians as necessary.
- Responsible for medication orders and outpatient testing.
- Serve as a resource for clinical staff and refer patients to other specialties as needed.
- Support inpatient rounding on the GI service and act as the primary contact for consults from Hospitalists and the Emergency Department.
Qualifications:
- Must hold board certification or be board eligible
- ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA certification is required
- A Master's degree is mandatory
- Previous experience in GI/Endoscopy or Primary Care is preferred
- New graduates must have completed a GI clinical rotation.
