Endoscopy Unit RN Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy Unit at Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield, Oregon. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a dedicated group of healthcare professionals.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse in our Endoscopy Unit will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs. You will work closely with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery. This is a 0.875 FTE day shift position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan patient care needs, including developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient care in the electronic health record
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Current Oregon RN license
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • ACLS certification
  • One year of RN experience in Critical Care (ED or ICU) or successful completion of critical care course
  • Endoscopy experience preferred
