Position Overview:
As the Senior Manager for Educational Outreach, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the University and its offerings to potential students and essential stakeholders within your designated area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary representative of the University at various outreach and recruitment venues.
  • Build and sustain professional relationships with military and civilian personnel, as well as other significant stakeholders.
  • Ensure that marketing materials are consistently updated and available in all assigned locations.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all University-related information.
  • Provide both in-person and virtual support to current and prospective students throughout their educational journey.
  • Collaborate with academic partners to identify and address program needs to enhance enrollment.
  • Organize and manage trade show events, including contract management and marketing strategies, while capturing leads and exploring new international markets.
  • Document all business development activities and student interactions using a customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders regarding trends and opportunities.
  • Represent the University at ceremonies and events, potentially presenting academic awards and recognitions.
  • Assist in the formulation and execution of strategies and plans, providing insights on marketing opportunities in your area.
  • Develop innovative marketing approaches to effectively reach target audiences.
  • Contribute to advertising and marketing strategies specific to your area.
  • Support other managers with events outside your designated area as needed.
  • Conduct regular assessments of the local environment, including military installations and competitors.
  • Facilitate initial contact and advisement for new and continuing students.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a university setting, particularly with active-duty military, veterans, and their families. Comparable experience may be considered.
  • Preferred knowledge of military voluntary education.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in computer systems, including word processing, data management, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products is essential.

Work Environment:
The primary responsibilities will take place at military installations and other relevant locations within your area. Adherence to applicable regulations and guidelines is required, and some overnight travel may be necessary, but will not exceed 50% of the time.
