Key Responsibilities

As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in the operating room by managing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment while assisting the surgeon during procedures. You will be responsible for adhering to departmental policies and procedures, supporting the overarching mission and values of CommonSpirit Health.

Qualifications

- Current Unlicensed Assistive Persons (UAP) Registration by the North Dakota Board of Nursing

- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program

- No prior experience necessary

- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to handle challenging situations

- Strong critical thinking abilities

- Familiarity with regulatory standards and processes

- Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively

PREFERRED: Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
