Job Title: LPN - Long Term Care

Job Summary: Health Advocates Network is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at a long-term care facility in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as an LPN and a valid, current LPN license issued within the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
  • Provide general nursing care to patients, including health assessments and sick calls.
  • Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess the condition of patients.
  • May serve as a leader for a group of personnel rendering nursing care to a number of patients.

Requirements:

  • At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • A valid and current LPN license issued within the US.
  • A valid and current CPR card.
  • Experience in ER, Psychiatric, MS, or Clinic settings.
  • Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Matrix (EMR) experience.
