About the Job:
As a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic for the Army National Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring that all wheeled vehicles are in top working condition. This includes inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, testing, adjusting, and replacing systems and components. You will also perform recovery operations and service electrical systems, including wiring harness and charging systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain wheeled vehicles, trailers, and material handling equipment systems
• Service automotive electrical systems, including wiring harness and starting and charging systems
What You'll Learn:
Through your training, you will develop the skills and experience to enjoy a civilian career with service stations, auto dealers, farm equipment companies, and state highway agencies. You'll be able to pursue a career as a mechanic who works on carburetors, transmissions, radiators, construction equipment, or endless track vehicles.
