Job Summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a skilled Traveling Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care to adolescents to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to adolescents to geriatric patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pediatric to geriatric setting.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
