Job Title: OB Surgical Technician

Position Overview:

The OB Surgical Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the surgical team during various obstetric procedures. This position involves a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring a smooth and efficient surgical process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the surgical team throughout operative procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available.
  • Carry out tasks under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, contributing to patient safety and care.
  • Conduct routine and urgent blood draws as required, maintaining a high standard of patient care.
  • Engage in patient care activities, providing support and comfort to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Perform unit clerk duties, managing administrative tasks to facilitate efficient operations.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess prior experience in patient care, demonstrating a commitment to quality and compassionate service.

Work Schedule: Evening/Day shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.

Certification Requirements: A valid CNA or PCT certification is mandatory for this role.
