Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecom Field Manager to join our team at Patriot Broadband Technologies. As a key member of our Outside Plant (OSP) team, you will play a vital role in the activation, testing, maintenance, and construction of our CATV Outside Plant network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage in-house and subcontracted resources to perform OSP activation, testing, maintenance, and management of construction projects.
  • Safety and Quality Control: Conduct OSP safety and project meetings, maintain relationships with stakeholders, and ensure projects are executed safely to high standards.
  • Communication and Coordination: Interface with business partners to coordinate schedules and plans, identify risks, and document all field changes.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee field employees, mentor them for developmental growth, and lead the team to meet and exceed client and industry standards.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with payroll and job costing support, oversee daily project sites, and implement safety plans.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years of previous supervisory experience in CATV Outside Plant, preferably with a valid state driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Skills: Strong Microsoft Office skills, knowledge of HFC plant, construction details, and relevant rules and regulations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift, sit in a vehicle and drive to various locations, and work in all temperatures, climates, and weather conditions.
