About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team at Colleton Medical Center, a 135-bed acute care community hospital. As a Dietitian Nutritionist I, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition assessments and interventions to adult patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nutrition assessments and reassessments to develop personalized care plans
  • Provide education and counseling to patients, staff, and physicians to promote optimal nutrition outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Assist with outpatient services as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or related field (or Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice)
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) certification or eligibility for registration
  • State licensure as required by practice location
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
