Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform CT scans and post-processing according to established clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Position patients correctly and use proper immobilization techniques.
  • Operate support equipment for CT, including independent workstations, pressure injectors, and PACS systems.
  • Initiate IVs for contrast media administration and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Document patient information, exam results, and supplies used during procedures.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of general radiology experience preferred.
  • ARRT registry and IEMA license required.
  • CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire.
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, respond to emergencies, and maintain a high level of technical competence. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
