Janitor / Busser

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Adhere to uniform standards and maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Ensure HOH Standards, Safety and Sanitation, and GHS requirements are followed at all times
• Maintain clean and organized stations and equipment
• Assist with opening and closing duties of the restaurant, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tables
• Train using tablets or computer
• Ability to work as a team and communicate effectively with colleagues

• Proven experience as a Janitor Busser
• Ability to communicate in English and understand policies and procedures
• Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables

The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work in a team environment. The janitor busser will be regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles from the kitchen and may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions when in the dish area or walk-in cooler.

The janitor busser may also be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning. Some Twin Peaks have smoking sections for guests and therefore the janitor busser may be exposed to cigarette or cigar smoke.

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle, feel, or carry objects, and talking or hearing. The janitor busser must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
