Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse with Advocare, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer prescribed medications, immunizations, and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
Maintain exam rooms with necessary supplies and materials, preparing lists of medical supplies needed and preparing equipment for physician use.
Record and report patient conditions and reactions to medications and treatments to physicians, educating patients and families about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutrition, and health and wellness.
Ensure appointment preferences are given to patients in emergency situations, greeting patients and preparing them for physician examination, screening patients for appropriate information, and instructing patients in collecting samples and tests.
Maintain and review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information, posting tests and examination results, and responding to and referring incoming patient treatment-related phone calls.
Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines, and confidentiality policies.

Requirements:

Active RN license
RN degree required; BSN preferred
Minimum one-year professional nursing experience preferred
