Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Metrology Specialist to join our team. As a Metrology Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting parts using laser tracking to ensure compliance with aerospace and defense regulations.

You will be instrumental in our inspections, utilizing your expertise in laser tracking and reverse engineering to measure data and convert it to solid models. Your ability to train other skilled engineers, machinists, or mechanics will be valuable assets to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect parts using laser tracking to ensure compliance with aerospace and defense regulations
  • Utilize laser tracking and reverse engineering skills to measure data and convert it to solid models
  • Train other skilled engineers, machinists, or mechanics as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality products
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in reverse engineering
  • Experience running Leica or Faro laser tracking
  • Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) and three-dimensional measurements with lasers, scanners, CMM, arms
  • Thorough knowledge of blueprints and inspection procedures (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
