Job Summary:

Life Link III is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotor Wing Pilot to join our Flight Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of medical crew and patients to receiving hospitals within an assigned operational area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preflight inspections and ensure aircraft and weather conditions are airworthy.
  • Comply with Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and General Operations Manual guidelines.
  • Perform all flight operations in accordance with the CFRs, aircraft Flight Manual, and Life Link III policies and procedures.
  • Ensure full and proper completion of all flight documentation.
  • Maintain positive relationships with fellow employees and customers.
  • Conduct detailed flight planning and weather checks with little notice.
  • Responsible for pertinent information regarding all flights, including NOTAMs, TFRs, and weather information.
  • Responsible for maintaining qualifications as required in CFRs.
  • Supervise loading of passengers, baggage, and fuel and determine that weight and balance remains within the limitations contained in the aircraft flight manual.

Requirements:

  • Commercial pilot certificate and Instrument Rating for category and class of aircraft.
  • First or Second Class FAA Medical Certificate.
  • 2000 hours total flight time.
  • 1500 hours flight hours in category.
  • 1000 hours PIC in category.
  • 500 hours of rotorcraft turbine time.
  • 200 hours of cross country.
  • 100 hours of unaided night.
  • 50 hours of unaided night can be accepted with a minimum of 100 hours of aided night.
  • 50 hours of hood or actual time instrument time in flight in category.
