AECOM is in search of a Project Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The key responsibilities for this role encompass, but are not limited to:
- Contributing to specific and moderate components of a larger project under the guidance of a seasoned civil engineer.
- Collecting and analyzing fundamental engineering data through established and well-defined methodologies.
- Engaging in detailed or routine engineering tasks that involve calculations and relatively straightforward tests.
- Proposing strategies to address new challenges encountered by adapting standard procedures or methods from prior projects.
- Independently executing all necessary tasks to finalize primary design elements for engineering projects, including roadway, sidewalk, recreational trails, and infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Current FE certification with a focus on obtaining a PE license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 3 years of experience in the design and execution of roadway and infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with local agency specifications, policies, and procedures.
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with project teams and leadership.
- Experience with MicroStation and/or Civil3D software.
- Sponsorship is not available for this position.
