Collision Technician Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Collision Technician to join our team at DARCARS Automotive Group. As a Collision Technician, you will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles and parts in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and time standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles to meet manufacturer's standards
  • De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with attention to detail and a sense of urgency
  • Maintain and assist with identifying and sourcing parts and materials
  • Meet or exceed productivity requirements in the Collision Center
  • Maintain tools and equipment in a proper state of repair
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of previous automotive technician experience
  • CSI and Quality scores above regional average preferred
  • Proficiency in all vehicle maintenance services
  • Ability to work repetitively on complex tasks and be a team player
  • Minimum of 18 years of age and valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening (background)
