We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Research Associate Fellow to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will have a strong background in ecology, evolution, and behavior, and will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research in these areas.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research in ecology, evolution, and behavior, with a focus on bridging the interests of two or more core faculty members.
- Develop and implement a research program that aligns with the goals and objectives of the EEB program.
- Contribute to the EEB community through a community engagement initiative, such as a workshop, professional development, or a science communication product.
- Collaborate with faculty members and other researchers to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in the EEB program.
- Ph.D. degree in a relevant field.
- Strong motivation for academic research and a track record of advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Peer-review publications and a strong potential for research success in ecology, evolution, and/or behavior.
- Experience with community engagement and science communication.
- A competitive salary and benefits package.
- A research stipend of $8,000 per year.
- Up to $1,000 of moving expenses may be reimbursed from the research stipend in the first year.
