Physician - Outpatient Internal Medicine Specialist

The Corewell Health Internal Medicine practice at 4069 Lake Drive is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internist to join their team of 5 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers. The ideal candidate will provide quality medical services to patients in a cost-effective and appropriate manner, ensuring coverage of their caseload at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and monitor the medical needs of patients/significant others.
- Provide input into the development of policies and procedures related to medical practice and quality patient care.
- Evaluate patients'/significant others'/staff educational needs and develop and implement appropriate teaching strategies or delegate to appropriate resources.
- Communicate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services.
- Act as a patient/family advocate.
- Participate in ongoing process improvement activities through the development/application of clinical paths, process improvement, and other related activities.
- LIC-Physician (MD) - State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
- CRT-DEA Registration - State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required.
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required.
