Job Summary

Promise Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Addiction Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a Family Practice Medical Provider, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for prescribing medication to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and cravings, as well as supporting patients in their journey to recovery. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans, provide health assessments, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.

We are committed to providing a comprehensive and compassionate approach to addiction treatment, and we are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescribe medication to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and cravings
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients
  • Provide health assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
  • Work closely with patients to support their journey to recovery
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or certification and completion of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
  • Current license to practice in the State of Illinois
  • Comprehensive understanding of addiction medicine, pharmacology of MAT medications, and clinical management of substance use disorders
