Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing products to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and evaluate products to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure the best possible prices and terms
  • Review and analyze purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Work closely with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize storage space
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 6 months of experience in foodservice or retail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
