Electromagnetic Compatibility Specialist

M Precision Laboratories, INC is a global leader in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electrostatic discharge (ESD) systems and solutions. As an EMC Specialist at our A2LA accredited calibration laboratory, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our products.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Calibration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and a strong understanding of electricity and electrical circuitry.

**Responsibilities:**

• Calibrate EMC and ESD measurement and test equipment, including compiling, measuring, and recording data gathered during calibration.
• Perform repair and maintenance of EMC and ESD systems.
• Follow company's Accredited ISO 17025 processes and procedures for calibration or repair of equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance of precision equipment.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and timely turnaround on all calibration and repairs.

**Requirements:**

• Must have hands-on experience with Automated Test Equipment (Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and High Voltage Probes, etc.).
• Familiarity with international ISO standards is recommended, along with a good understanding of electricity and electrical circuitry.
• Experience with high voltage equipment (>5 kV).
• Good communication skills.
• Customer service focus.
• Strong Windows PC skills.
• Must be able to work around high voltage equipment in a safe manner.
• Must be able to work independently.

**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
