We are seeking a Regional Sales Executive to oversee a designated territory. This role will primarily involve managing a customer base of veterinary clinics and specialty pet retail outlets, enhancing net sales, optimizing product mix, and increasing overall consumption of Hill's products while staying informed about the competitive landscape.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of veterinary clinics and specialty pet retail establishments, driving net sales, volume, market share, and brand endorsement while improving product offerings.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage and execution of the 6Ps to boost net sales, volume, and market share.
- Promote and merchandise Hill's products and services, implementing the Perfect Clinic/Store program where applicable.
- Educate clients through detailed presentations and in-clinic seminars on the superior economic and nutritional benefits of Hill's pet diets and products.
- Contribute to the well-being of pets by advocating for our products.
- Develop tailored customer strategies and collaborative plans to achieve results based on customer analysis.
- Utilize Hill's commercial and professional programs to enhance product experience, awareness of superior formulations, and drive sales growth.
- Facilitate new product launches and engage clinic staff to increase in-store visibility and market leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Commercial internship experience or 2+ years of sales experience or 2+ years in a veterinary hospital setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficient in computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree related to Sales.
- RVT/CVT certification.
- Field sales experience in Animal Health.
- DVM degree (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine).
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.
