Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Administer medications and provide wound care as ordered to promote patient well-being.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams.
- Participate in center surveys and contribute to the development of patient discharge plans.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge patients while maintaining accurate records.
- Complete incident reports and chart patient information in electronic files.
- Receive and implement physician orders, and ensure proper handling of narcotics.
- Participate in associate performance evaluations and contribute to the development of work assignments.
- Conduct daily rounds to ensure patient safety and meet with nursing personnel to improve services.
- Administer professional services, including catheterizations and tube feedings.
- Attend in-service programs and maintain professional competence through continuing education.
- Must hold a current and valid RN license.
