About the Role

HealthPro Heritage, LLC is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in a part-time and PRN capacity. As a Physical Therapist on our geri/psych unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough functional assessments of patients to identify areas for improvement and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, including home and vocational needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Enter progress notes and maintain accurate department records to ensure timely and effective treatment.
  • Supervise and train assistants in treatment procedures to ensure high-quality care.
  • Revise treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Current license in the state of practice.
  • Experience working in a setting serving the same age/type of patient population as our facility.
  • Certification, if applicable, and demonstrated competency in identified areas of specialization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
