DESCRIPTIONS:

About the Job: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Maintenance Technician to join our team at CBRE GWS. As a member of our Critical and Technical Services job function, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. If you have a passion for working in a fast-paced environment and are looking for a challenging role, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

The Role: As a Data Center Maintenance Technician, you will assist with daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance. You will also be responsible for ensuring the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment and reacting to Building Management System alarms, completing emergency repairs as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.
  2. Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
  3. React to Building Management System alarms, completing emergency repairs as needed.
  4. Work with third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.
  5. Alert management if subcontractor performance doesn't meet all requirements per the Master Service Agreement.
  6. Complete planned preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all equipment.
  7. Check BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to HVAC-related client problems.
  8. Building walkthroughs, taking meter readings from UPS, PDU's and utilities.
  9. Provide fixes to facility and plant faults and defects.
