Home Health Speech Therapist Position Overview

Interim HealthCare is a leading provider of home-based speech therapy services, seeking experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team. As a Home Health SLP with Interim HealthCare, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of patients while enjoying a flexible and rewarding career.

About the Job:

  • Provide home-based speech therapy services to patients with communication, swallowing, or cognitive difficulties
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, PTs, and OTs, to achieve patient goals
  • Evaluate patient progress, document treatment plans, and educate patients and families on self-care and safety practices
  • Assist patients with mouth, breathing, and swallowing exercises, fluency, articulation, and reading skills

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology and active SLP license in Colorado
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in speech therapy, preferably in home healthcare
  • CPR certification and ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • No COVID vaccination required
  • Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations and good clinical judgment

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and location
  • Competitive weekly pay with travel time and mileage reimbursement
