Medical Surgical Nurse

TotalMed is seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse for a travel nursing opportunity in Madison, Wisconsin.
About the RoleThis position involves providing high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical unit. The successful candidate will assess patients' needs, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, medication administration, and wound care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, assess vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care instructions, medication management, and recovery expectations.
- Current RN license.
- BLS certification (other certifications as required by facility).
- Two years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills.
