Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) procedures to acquire digital images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures to acquire high-quality digital images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of CT technology and its applications
  • Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (SNMT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
  • Preferred qualifications include registered technologist by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography and two years of experience as a registered computed tomography technologist
