Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to lead our development team in creating and maintaining REST APIs for various payment products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java/J2EE, Spring, and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and complete assigned deliverables, including detailed design, development, unit testing, and defect fixes.
  • Track and report on development progress using tools like TFS, Azure DevOps, and ServiceNow.
  • Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and unit testing strategy.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to other developers and testers.
  • Diagnose complex technical problems and provide L3 production support.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of hands-on development experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong understanding of design patterns and related terminology.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, design, documentation, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in developing microservices with Spring and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.
  • Payments/payment processing background in wires, ACH, Zelle, or Bill Payments.
