Job Title: CVOR Technologist

RTG Medical-Allied is seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join their team in a travel position.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CVOR Technologist to work in a fast-paced cardiovascular operating room environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cardiovascular operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including cardiovascular monitoring systems and surgical instruments.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including pre-operative preparation, intra-operative support, and post-operative recovery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a CVOR Technologist or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiovascular operating room environment.
  • Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in cardiovascular monitoring systems and surgical instruments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
