Key Responsibilities- Implement district school health program and provide direct services to meet the needs of students and staff under the clinical supervision of the school nurse (RN)
- Develop and maintain knowledge of basic first aid and cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Utilize strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents
- Maintain accurate records and complete required reports using personal computer and software
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Texas license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing
- One year experience in a health-related position, including contact with school-age children
- Strong keyboarding and file maintenance skills
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including Inst. Support PG4/184 days and a starting salary of $29,918.
