Chi Health Immanuel is seeking a skilled Invasive Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for assisting with pre-procedure education, preparing patients for procedures, and scrubbing and assisting physicians during invasive procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist with pre-procedure education and preparation of patients for procedures
- Scrubs and assists physicians during invasive procedures
- Performs arterial and/or venous sheath removal utilizing deployment of closure devices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression
- Transport patients after procedures
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and respond to notifications within 30 minutes
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential from CCI or Radiology Technologist Degree with ARRT certification
- BLS from the American Heart Association required upon hire
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Knowledge of radiographic views and equipment
- Knowledge of EKG rhythms and abnormalities
- Knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy
- Knowledge of sterile field management and aseptic techniques
