About the PositionThis is a part-time, temporary position, with a salary range estimated to be between $4,530 - $6,056 per month, depending on qualifications and units assigned. The position is contingent upon departmental needs and funding.
Key Responsibilities- Teach French language and culture courses at various levels, including lower and upper-division courses
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and success
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A Master's degree in French or a related field
- At least two years of university teaching experience
- Native or near-native fluency in spoken and written French
Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. or ABD in French or Comparative Literature. We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate their ability to work with diverse groups of students and create an inclusive learning environment.
