Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Laboratory Specialist to supervise the daily operations of the Microbiology section. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction, implementing quality control measures, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of assigned section to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.
  • Institute and conduct procedures to ensure section compliance with regulatory agency requirements.
  • Develop and implement new procedures and policies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain technical competency and oversee staff training and continuing education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5 years minimum job-related experience as a Medical Technologist or equivalent.
  • Medical Technologist certification from ASCP (or equivalent).
