We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in a full-time capacity. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Administer patient care in accordance with the nursing process and individualized care plans.
- Assist in the development of the plan of care, providing information to the RN as needed.
- Review and utilize diagnostic data, medical orders, and nursing assessment to provide continuity of care.
- Set priorities for patient care based on acuity and patient/family preference.
- Accurately report and document patient symptoms, responses, and status to reflect the nursing care plan.
- Safely perform and document nursing procedures required by patient assignment.
- Promote and participate in patient/family education and counseling based on health needs.
- Assist in ensuring that discharge needs are met, including food and drug interactions, test, procedures, medications, and equipment.
- Successful completion of LVN/LPN training.
- Current state licensure and verification.
- Prefer 6 months of clinical practice in an acute care environment.
