At Mission Regional Medical Center, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and improving the health of our community. As a Registered Nurse in our Wound Care department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex wounds.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients in the outpatient wound care clinic and evaluate inpatient wounds.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, charge nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient treatment and clinical condition.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
- Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state.
- BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
- Previous acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Previous wound care knowledge and/or experience preferred (1 year).
- Wound Care Certification preferred.
- Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification preferred.
